Hi, my name is Les Tokawa. This is my website to spread the word about canoeing, hiking, and camping in this wonderful country of ours, Canada!
Check out the links to other paddling- and hiking-minded websites. I'll post interesting things I find that may be helpful to you in your camping, hiking and canoeing endeavours.
Visit the Near North page to learn about the Lake Temiskaming region, and to view the preliminary map sketches made by Les Wilcox, an old friend of mine. Les is one of the founders of Nastawgan Trails, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the wilds of Temagami region for future generations. These sketches are the basis upon which a new guide is being written describing the trails and routes through the Temiskaming region.
